11:19 AM CST: It's
star trail season again! When the winter chill enthralls the mid-west,
I throw on a couple additional layers of clothing and brave the cold
nights to enjoy the beautiful crisp atmosheric optics the cold winter
months provide viagra. I set out with hopes to make this my best winter of
astrophotography yet, and have already got a
few great nights in. Check the blog for the most recent
photos, and for future updates!

3:55 PM CST: Winter weather season has arrived,
and I still lack the ability to update this main page . Check the blog
for some interesting new updates viagra online. I've compiled a list of my top 10
photographs from the year 2010, and you'll also find any winter weather
updates that I may have to share.

2:59 PM CDT - Sunday morning central Wisconsin
received it's first deep freeze of the season as I took a weekend get
away to the lake house up there. While temperatures plummeted below
30F, the lake temperature remained above 60F. The result was plentiful
lake steam during the sunrise, with an added bonus. Little
circulations, or steam devils began sprouting up all over the place!
Video and be seen here, and photos of the steam devils, and more will
be posted on the blog this evening!

2:15 PM CDT - Managed to capture a pair of
tornadoes along the warm front in southern Wisconsin yesterday evening.
Already have plenty of photos and some archived weather data from the
event on my blog.

10:29 PM CDT - Well, that was fast. As quick as it
began, the season ended. I can't help but be bummed at the insane year
that ended up transpiring, but the minimal events that I was able to
capture from it. The events were often very far from home, and often
during times that I just could not chase. When I chased, I often did
well, but it was when I did not chase was when I was hurt. That being
the case, it's hard to be overly upset about it. One can't chase every
event, but can only hope to do the very best on the day that they do get out. Not tornadoes seen
since May 22nd in South Dakota, but I've netted several photogenic
tornado-less supercells in NW flow during the month of
June. Those events can be found in the 2010 section, or by visiting my
blog. For now, actual chase logs are limited because I just
don't have the time, but links to my blog updates with photos are all
available.

3:10 AM CDT - Has it really been a month since
I updated the main page? Yikes. Well, all the more motivation for you
to keep up with my blog section. I really forget about this main page
when the season get's going. Had a couple decent tornado days on May
10th in Oklahoma and then on May 22nd in
South Dakota. Looks like
potential northwest flow days in the future, so check the blog! In the
meantime, click below for a time lapse of the incredible Bowdle, SD
storm.

9:02 CDT - Unfortunately not a ton to add at
the moment. I've had a couple let down chasing ops the last couple
weeks but nothing worth keeping a record of. I've been very busy the
last couple weeks and good chasing setups have been hard to come by.
Fortunately both the weather and my schedule should cooperate better in
the coming week or two. Definitely keep an eye on the blog as a couple
big storm systems could be in the works between May 10th and 15th, and
I should be free to play, finally.
April 16 2010
10:09 PM CDT - This weather pattern has been
extremely boring for severe weather, but absolutely beautiful
otherwise. Sunny skies and temperatures in the 80's, I will definitely
accept in April. Spent the last two evenings out at Lake Shabonna in
southern DeKalb County exploring during the
evening, and doing star
trails at night. Photos from both days are available on my blog.
