| Purchase Information | Prairiestorm Media is run by myself, Andrew Pritchard. I've always had a fascination in meteorology and photography dating back to my childhood years. Over the years I've slowly started combining those fascinations into one. As I got older, I realized that there was a group of people calling themselves "Storm Chasers" who actually went out seeking severe weather. It wasn't long until I had it made up in my mind that this was what I was doing with my life. I've since incorporated my love for photography to the hobby, and my fascination has now become to go out and document all the amazing forms that mother nature takes. Along with documenting mother nature, I also share an interest in photographing the beautiful landscape we have here in America's Heartland. I decided I wanted to create a place to share my work with others, and Prairiestorm Media came into existance. I currently attend Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois where I am finishing a degree in Natural Sciences, before transferring to the University of Illinois, or Northern Illinois University for further degrees in Meteorology. I work as an assistant to Ed Kieser in the WILL AM/FM/TV weather office at the University of Illinois.
